Dreamlayas was extremely comfortable and is one of the most hygienic homestays I have stayed in. Being a nature lover and a wildlife enthusiast, I got to gaze at the mountains of Bhutan through the window and encountered beautiful Golden Orioles in the garden within the homestay compound. The homestay serves organic dishes and the vegetables are plucked from the garden right in front of the kitchen. Plucking fresh green chillis before meals, making mint sauce along with the family members and other activities was just amazing. Many species of butterflies also visit the compound. Overall, it is the best place to stay in Buxa I would say! Lal Singh ji, bhabhi, and their two daughters kept us like family. Thank you so much!

Dreamalaya is actually a home away from home, something you don't get when you go for a resort in the forest areas. This 'House of Rajabhatkhawa' as I call myself has a very very confortable accommodation with enough space, clean bathroom, homely service and best of all - home cooked food. The best so far in the Buxa and adjoining areas. The location is fantastic - you live with the forest people, can walk in to the jungle, hear the elephants coming in the nights, and an aray of rare species of beautiful birds flying around. Over all a very good experience, an execellant place to spend your quiet days in the forests. The whole concept also shows how responsible community tourism can be. And Lal Singh knows that.

When I reached Dreamalaya, I must confess, I had doubts about what I will get there. It was July and the forest safaris were closed. And the resort was new with little reference in the internet. But my apprehensions were soon quelled by overwhelming hospitality. Your resort is what I always want from a nature resort; peaceful environment, beautiful surroundings and a host who is both professional and personal at the same time. We spend an entire evening around campfire conversing with the owner. He seems to be a very knowledgeable person. The rooms were very large and the food is especially very good. Keep up the good work, I intend to come here again on my next vacation.
