Jhandi is uniquely placed at an altitude of about 1900 meters in the Dooars region, in the Kalimpong district. It is surrounded in the East, South and West by the beautiful Dooars Valley, which is lovingly embraced by a matrix of rivers. The Kanchanjungha range is visible along its North Western corner. The Jhandi homestay is located in Kalimpong District. It is a fairly new property, run by Mr Hiran Chhetri and his wife. You will enjoy the serenity and natural beauty of the homestay, where the only sounds are that of the tweeting of birds. Sit back and relax in this atmosphere with a cup of Darjeeling tea from the famous Samabeong Tea Estate located 4 Km away.

Four double bedded rooms, all of them are carpeted with wood panelling and attached washrooms. The washrooms have running water and also have geysers.

Dinner Standard Menu - One can have roti or plain rice with chicken curry or fish curry as your likes with dal pappar salad chatnis and fries.

Young Hiran and his wife Manita run the homestay. They are both locals who have grown up in this region. Hiran's main source of income is crop cultivation and animal farming. His wife Manita, extremely soft-spoken and gentle in nature, assists him in running their homestay. You will feel a part of their family when you are there.
