Weather here is mostly comfortable. It is neither too cold nor warm. The beautiful weather of Kurseong had made it a popular sojourn for tourists from the plains for more than a century now. Winter coldness can be a little harsh, with temperature going down to even 2 or 3 degrees in extreme cases.
However snow fall or freezing does not take place here. During summer months day temperature may go above 25 degrees and you can easily roam around in a shirt. But sudden unpredictable rain fall can bring down the temperature very fast. Rain fall here is quite heavy and apart from the monsoon months, rainfall may occur almost throughout the year.
