More ReviewsFrom NJP to Aritar is a drive of about 4 hours. You have to drive to Ranpo where you cross the border and enter Sikkim from Bengal. Take a less-traveled path from here which will pass through Rorathang and Rhenok to reach our Home Lodge at Aritar.
If you are coming from Kalimpong, you can travel via Pedong – Reshi, and Rhenok to reach Aritar. Guests going from Aritar to Gangtok or coming from Gangtok to Aritar may drive to Rangpo and then take the same route as suggested for guests traveling from NJP, the alternative route is to take a detour from the national highway at Ranipool near Gangtok and Pakyong bound road. Both roads will take you to Aritar by covering a similar distance of about 70 km.
Even More...Visit Zuluk - Aritar tour is incomplete without a visit to the famous Zuluk route. Aritar is the ideal base for your tour of the famous Silk Route. We take you to Zuluk, Gnathang Valley and Baba Mandir on a day trip from here. Compared to local accommodation available in Zuluk area, Aritar is a much better proposition with no shortage of water, better service, rooms, and more regular electricity. All these basics are often found missing in the higher altitude accommodations closer to Zuluk. As a result, guests prefer to base their Silk route tour from Aritar.
