Lava is located at an altitude of 2350 meters and is one of the few places in West Bengal which has a chance of receiving snow during winter. It is the gateway to Neora Valley National Park and while approaching Lava, you will see a myriad of alpine trees like fir and birch.

Humro Home Lake View was started recently, about a year ago, and has gained quickly in popularity amongst our visitors. Lava is a sought-after destination in West Bengal due to its slightly off-beat nature.

Being surrounded by walking trails of varying difficulty levels, the chief interest in this region is trekking. The famous Rachela Pass walking route is 12 km from Lava. Rishop is a 4 Km uphill walk from here. Neora Valley is rich in flora and fauna, you will see a variety of vegetation and bird watching is also an attraction for those interested.

Lava Monastery, Loleygaon, Take an exciting canopy walk at Loleygaon. Rishop offers a grand view of the Kanchanjungha range on a clear day.
